The Mark II MGB roadster was introduced in 1967, and featured a number of specification changes, notably the switch to an all-synchro gearbox.
Our British Racing Green Mark 2 roadster was first registered in October 1967. In 1989, the car was completely rebuilt using a new British Motor Heritage bodyshell and a Gold Seal engine, at a cost of over £7000 in parts alone, and over 520 hours of labour by the then owner! Since then, the car has covered just 9,000 dry miles, and remains in fabulous condition throughout.
Wonderful to drive, this is exactly as an MG should B. No need for hastily inserted Rover V8s where this car is concerned!
