North Devon Classic Car Hire offer a choice of seven British and European sports cars from the 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980's. Featuring superb classic sports cars from Porsche, MG and Triumph, and the 2 ultimate classic British roadsters - the Jaguar E-type and Austin Healey 3000 - our cars are all beautifully restored examples of their type, offering you the chance to experience real driving pleasure in one of the UK's most beautiful landscapes.
The youngest car on our fleet is a wonderful slice of the 1980s and the first truly practical "supercar" - the awesome Porsche 911 Turbo. This car needs to be driven to be truly appreciated!
For real wind in the hair motoring, hire from our wide range of two seater open roadsters – starting with the iconic Jaguar E-type. Our car is the ultimate E type, a Series 1 4.2-litre roadster in British Racing Green, with tan leather interior. We also have a beautiful Austin Healey 3000 MkIII in the best colour combination, Ice Blue over Old English White. Absolutely stunning!
We are pleased to be able to offer a faithful recreation of the legendary Jaguar XK140 by Nostalgia Motor Cars.
From MG, we have a gorgeous, Heritage-shelled 1967 Mk II MGB in British Racing Green. In perfect condition after a 1500 hour restoration, this car feels fitter than any other MGB I've ever driven. Superb fun!
Alternatively, if you are a fan of the "hairy-chested" Triumph TR, we have a choice of two for hire. Our Signal Red TR4A from 1966 has been painstakingly restored to concours condition and is essentially a “new” 40 year old classic car. And for the straight six enthusiast, our 1974 TR6 will not disappoint. Completely rebuilt in the 1990s, and to fuel-injected 150bhp specification, our Pimento Red TR6 represents the ultimate evolution of the TR line.
Or how about our handsome Triumph Stag? One of the last off the line in 1977, our car is finished in Brooklands Green, and is a rare and sought after manual overdrive car (the majority were automatic). Complete with factory hard top and mohair soft top, the Stag is a grand tourer par excellence, the stainless steel twin exhausts providing a stirring V8 soundtrack.
